In this work Thus spoke Zarathustra. Zarathustra finds himself on a path up a mountain, a path that ends at a gate marked "This Moment." Two paths come together at this gate, going opposite directions, and neither having an end. Zarathustra ponders this and discusses it with the dwarf who has been riding on his shoulders. Together, Zarathustra and the dwarf work on this problem of the two eternal paths, one of which runs backward, the other forward. And Zarathustra asks about the path running backwards, "Must not whatever can run its course of all things, have already run along that lane? Must not whatever can happen of all things have already happened, resulted, and gone by?" Zarathustra thinks that if everything has already run along this eternal path, then everything has already existed, including the gate at which they stand. It is there that the idea of eternal recurrence is presented.
So, is this allegorical tale, involving life's paths and the universe, really stating a very profound ideology?
If we think about the existence of black holes and the theory that if we could sustain the crushing weight and manage to emerge the other side of the black hole, through the Einstein -Rosen Bridge...would we come out in the past, in the future, or would it be in a parallel world?
To me it just validates my feelings that we have existed before and will continue to for eons to come, as we are energy and energy will go on regardless of what forms we might take!
Could we like Zarathustra stand at the moment of the two pathways, leaning against the gate we have lent on my times before? It's possible.
My thoughts on this are not to try to distill it into a format for believers or sceptics but to take a message from it.
We are all on a path of discovery, we all come to a crossroads that is our moment in time. Its how we deal with ourselves and others during our walk down the path we have trodden on so many times before is what really counts!!
"We love life, not because we are used to living but because we are used to loving"
“The soul comes from without into the human body, as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew and passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal.
"It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not die, but only retire a little from sight and afterwards return again. Nothing is dead; men feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals and mournful obituaries...and there they stand looking out of the window, sound and well, in some strange new disguise." (RWE)
How lovely to view existence as an ongoing process, that at our physical death we can observe the mourning of our body whilst immersed in our new physicality.
If we could for one moment, hold this thought of reincarnation as truth, how would we change the life we are in now?
Would we treat people with more kindness and empathy? Perhaps we would cherish our loved ones more? Would we be responsible for our actions or even our words, knowing that we would be held accountable in our next incarnation?
I have often wondered this...would we be a better planet if this was the accepted philosophy?
I would like to ask you to think on this and for one day accept that reincarnation and karma are in fact a given. Would you be different to those you love?
Where I work I see an inordinate amount of people who seem weighted down by life. Their posture reveals burdens too heavy for them to carry. They are anxious, stressed and cut off from the world, but mostly I fear, cut off from themselves.
When does it get to the point where work becomes life...and life becomes work?
Are we so alienated, so scared to look at ourselves, that we forget who we are...forgetting who we used to be?
Life is a wonderful gift, in which we can achieve wonderful things...not about getting the latest car, stereo...but about connecting with each other and remembering that what we do and say today can have an immense effect on what happens to us tomorrow.
We are in danger of becoming polarized from spirit.......Tell someone today that you appreciate them and care for them.....it’s the biggest gift you can bestow on another human being.

Well, last night I was invited to the Russell Brand's Got Issues show at the BBC TV centre in White City.
The show was about the paranormal, and I had been asked if I could regress Russell Brand whilst being filmed. I didn't get to do this, and I now am thankful that I didn't.
The show made a mockery of anything paranormal, and Russell Brand, who admittedly was very funny about his Past Life Regression, did try to inject some belief but this was painfully undermined by Vanessa Feltz.
Vanessa Feltz was overtly vitriolic about anything paranormal and was just plain rude...I think her comment about people from Norwich will be her Anne Robinson.
Even though Vanessa did admit that she had a show in which she met a dark witch....Vanessa said she wasn't intimidated, and said to the Dark Witch " Its all an act...I'm not buying this" or words to that effect. Just after this comment, the dark witch just looked at her...and all 12 TV camera's simultaneously blew up!!
As tempting as it might be to have celebrity clients, and might seem at the time a good career move, overall I think that the glamour aspect is detrimental to the profession.
I am looking to help people...people like me who work hard for a meagre living, who don't have secretary's and PA's at their disposal, but whose spirit has not been damaged by the illusion of fame and glamour.
I realized last night that fame and celebrity is a smokescreen to real life. Like Vanessa Feltz, the real empathetic personality gets swallowed by ego and narcissism.
On the up side I met some lovely people in the same field, who like me, are passionate about what they do and were equally appalled at what was happening in the TV studio.
Life is a learning curve for sure.
